The Eathorpe Village History Scrapbook was created in 1956 by members of the village WI. The scrapbook is mainly handwritten historical information along with embedded maps, photographs and press cuttings - which have been scanned in from the originals as images. When I received the scrapbook (many years ago!) the box also contained several other documants which I also scanned and added. This material was originally created in CD format and sold to support funding of the planned village hall rebuild

In 2001 the village staged a photographic exhibition of "Eathorpe Past and Present". It covered changes in the buildings, the way people work in the village, social events, weather events (including some of the floods that have occurred) and the people who used to live and now live in the village. Again, this material was originally created as a CD and sold to support the funding of the Eathorpe and Wappenbury village hall rebuilding project
